Travel

This collection features photographs documenting the travels, family gatherings, and professional engagements of Dr. Henry Hu and Dr. Chung Chi-yung since the 1960s. The photos capture their journeys across various countries, including mainland China, Southeast Asia, the United States, the United Kingdom, South America, Macau, etc.

Highlights include visits to cultural and historical landmarks, participation in significant events such as the Sino-British Joint Declaration signing ceremony, inspections with the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), as well as visits to educational institutions like Beijing University and Hangzhou University.

These photographs are kept by both Dr. Henry Hu and Dr. Chung Chi-yung in their offices. The majority of the photographs were taken around 1985-1990 whereas the Braemar Hill campus was newly built. It was an important milestone for the development of Shue Yan College, and lots of government officials, overseas guests, and potential partners visited the College during that period. It showed the effort by Dr. Henry Hu and Dr. Chung Chi-yung on building connections and relations for the College.

The photographs also showed aspects on student activities, important college events, campus's development, etc. from 1970s to 2000s.
